Position Summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area
Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
Maintaining the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area

What you’ll do

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to work in other areas as needed.

Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.

Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilize handheld technology to make immediate decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.

Drive area performance; manage expectations and high exposure; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; reduce waste; guide peers and assist customers per company policies.
