RJW Logistics Group . Location: Bolingbrook, IL. Schedule/Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday. Salary: Starting at $60k annual. Responsibilities
Responsible for assigning work assignments for all 2nd shift warehouse staffing, keeping in mind customer specifications, up to and including driver departure times to meet delivery schedules. Oversee the loading of inbound/outbound freight according to customer specifications. Supervise Local, Regional, and OTR drivers; communicate updates and work-flow changes. Review deliveries for poor packing and general conditions of materials; alert Customer Service Rep, Warehouse Manager, and when necessary COO with clear, decisive information or pictures if necessary. Oversee and assign the processing of shipment paperwork as required, including the scanning of BOLs. Ensure all shipments are recorded and verified; verify the accuracy of shipments against paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries. Monitor the quality and accuracy of all shipments according to customer specifications. Ensure department staff meets customer requirements and that any changes are updated; train staff on changes. Update Tee Card board and TMW system. Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries; implement any required actions. Communicate via e-mail prior to the end of each shift to ensure smooth transition of daily workflow, issues, customer concerns, or maintenance issues. Ensure safety, training and development of employees, drivers, and contractors in accordance with OSHA and RJW policies and procedures. Oversee completion of all computer data entry as required, checking for accuracy and efficiency. Maintain and approve all shift employee timesheets for weekly payroll, including temp hours; monitor overtime to meet department requirements. Perform building checks daily and notify management of equipment or building problems; assist with maintenance per manufacturer recommendations. Ensure warehouse employees adhere to AIB processes and have required AIB training for handling food products where applicable. Ensure all checklists for building, equipment, and safety are completed; issue corrective actions or work orders as needed. Handle accident reporting, care of injured employees, and notify HR/management of emergency actions. Perform other duties as instructed by Warehouse Manager or COO. Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience. Dispatch experience; dock supervision experience. Familiarity with SmartTurn or TMW software is a plus. Experience in Warehouse Management and LTL dispatch. Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements. Education and/or Experience Required
Minimum of High School diploma or GED equivalent; some college preferred. Benefits
