Overview Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Be a part of a team that offers customers more of what they love, for less.
Responsibilities
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to work in other areas as needed.
Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines; manage cold chain, inventory, equipment operation and sanitation; understand product and layout execution.
Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; minimize waste; guide peers and address customer needs per company policies.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area; model high-quality service and products; execute basics at the highest level of quality; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply the Open Door Policy and related practices in executing business processes.
Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications : 18 years of age or older. Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments for the position within the designated time period.
