Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Position Summary: Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We also wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest items available for members. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with bakery orders. Responsibilities
Ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area
Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
Maintaining the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
What you'll do
Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and is flexible to work in other areas.
Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans future productions and mass productions; prepares for seasonality; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
Be an Owner: Drives area performance; uses digital tools; manages high exposure and expectations; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; guides peers and attends to customer needs; assists customers per company policies.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; executes basics at high quality; shows energy, commitment, and passion.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; applies Open Door Policy in business processes and practices.
Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; seeks improvements and adapts to change.
