Overview The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising company strategy and operations related to domestic, international, VAS and cartage freight warehouse activities. The role works with staff and internal AIT functions to provide the best overall warehouse service.
Responsibilities
Support warehouse operations staff in day‑to‑day activities of Domestic, International, Pick Pack and Ship, and Cartage Freight Warehouse and Department personnel.
Meet directly with local warehouse supplier/tools/equipment providers through all communication levels (email, phone, meeting, site visits) and negotiate to achieve desired results.
Develop an AIT baseline of operations and benchmark to industry standards, identifying opportunities for cost and service improvement through attendance of seminars, industry events, and education activities.
Supervise and oversee daily domestic service and operations activities related to cartage, freight movement and dispatch pickup/delivery quotes.
Provide an effective warehousing system that delivers a high level of service to external and internal customers, identifying opportunities and partnering with the Terminal/Station Manager to implement new solutions through project management and constraint elimination.
Review and suggest changes to permanent and temporary staff to meet company goals.
Achieve warehouse expense goals by working with various internal groups to develop, implement and monitor warehousing logistics metrics.
Ensure a safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as the business deems necessary.

Familiar with Warehouse (Pick, Pack and Ship), domestic, international and cartage freight forwarding warehousing services.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and WMS – 3PL Central.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Organize and write procedures logically and methodically.
Good time management, excellent attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidential information.
Maintain satisfactory attendance and adhere to company policies, programs, and work rules.
Perform work in a timely manner; highly motivated, self‑directed, and results driven.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to follow through multi‑step procedures consistently.
Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Benefits and Compensation Wage range: $58,900.00 – $84,800.00, depending on geography, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. In addition to base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on business and/or individual performance metrics. Benefits include Medical, Prescription, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, Disability, Supplemental Health, Employee Support, Paid Parental Leave, Pet Insurance, 401(k), and Tuition Reimbursement.
