Relationship Banker - Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities
Under guidance of the Branch Manager, assume responsibilities for the efficient operation of the teller area; make recommendations for improved procedures; assist Branch Manager in compiling necessary data and completing branch reports.
Processing a variety of customer‑initiated transactions, i.e., deposits, withdrawals, etc.; selling money orders, official checks, etc. in accordance with established policies.
Accepting and processing all types of loan payments; cashing checks in accordance with check‑cashing policy; issuing cash advances.
Enhance customer relationships by cross‑selling bank products.
Responsible for all security procedures and ensuring that Relationship Bankers adhere to policy; CIP and BSA policies.
Manage cash inventory for the branch and cash machine operations, including balancing, auditing, and cleaning. Train branch staff on cash‑machine procedures. Issue cash to Relationship Bankers and ensure sufficient funds for daily transactions; assume responsibility for security of all currency used in the branch. Manage the ATM process if the branch staff services the ATM as required by location.
In partnership with the Branch Manager, set the expectations of the High 5 Customer Experience behaviors: greets, uses customer name, engages, thanks and shows that you like your job to the customer upon visiting the branch to assist them with both deposit/loan and detailed transactions.
Communicate and interact with customers, both internal and external, with confidence; communication may be in‑person, over‑the‑phone, or via email.
Attend appropriate training programs as made available by the Bank.
Lead and embrace challenges, learn from feedback; inspire and celebrate others’ successes; act as a leader in the branch.
Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of teller line.
2+ years of banking experience.
Complete understanding of operational procedures gained through several years of operational experience.
Ability to use and working knowledge of computers/strong keyboarding skills.
Good interpersonal communication.
Able to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
