Flightline Operations Manager role at Boeing. Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Flightline Operations Manager (Level L) to support the Everett Delivery Center in Everett, Washington on 3rd shift. This Senior Manager will be responsible for the People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Innovation performance while delivering product to internal Boeing Programs. Regular interaction with cross-functional production support teams, operations, executive leadership and regulatory agencies is required. Strong leadership and people skills, the ability to solve problems, proactively identify issues and develop and communicate action plans are essential. Note : This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities

Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and post flight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery. Interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

5+ years of experience in an Aerospace, Fabrication or Manufacturing environment 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

3+ years of flight line operations experience 3+ years of experience working with airline customers 3+ years of experience with quality assurance, troubleshooting capabilities, functional test knowledge, release, ticket experience, manufacturing, and/or structures 3+ years of proficiency using CMES or Velocity

Specific programs vary by location and eligibility.
