Occupational Summary (Position Objective & Authorities) Objective: Coordinating purchases for one or more purchasing commodities Drafting, validating and deploying target purchasing policies for one or more commodities in accordance with internal customer needs Guaranteeing attainment of objectives within scope in terms of gains and service level through supplier panels and contractual compliance This position works under the general supervision of the Director, Commodity Management. Responsibilities
Coordinating, drafting and proposing the target purchasing policy for the commodity concerned, in alignment with company objectives Coordinating invitations to tender and implementing the supplier selection process Negotiating and drawing up contracts with the selected suppliers Managing the panel of suppliers Managing supplier relations Reporting to the purchasing department of the company or Group Acting as the key contact of the lead family buyer when applicable Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal standards Performing other duties as assigned Job Requirements
Qualification Requirements A. Education & Qualification:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related field, or six years of equivalent experience B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge:
Eight (8) years of hands-on experience in related fields with purchasing/sourcing and direct spend management Ability to map supply chains, present facts to support value, and work with internal stakeholders to overcome objections Strong background in building strategic relationships with suppliers and internal customers Ability to work with close supervision; self-directed C. Professional Skills: Operational experience of over 8 years with suppliers in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality Knowledge of development and production processes Project Management, Configuration Management Cross-functional / Transverse management Analysis of customer requirements and understanding of technical environment Supplier relationship management and purchasing administration Economic performance analysis and negotiation fundamentals Microsoft Office proficiency Analytical and synthetic thinking D. Behavioral Skills: Highly organized, rigorous and goal-oriented Energetic, enthusiastic with ability to manage stress Strong conviction, analytical and synthetic mindset Tenacity, perseverance and active listening Time management E.
