Position Description As an Assistant Manager at Applebee's, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest service and staff engagement. You will be a team leader, problem solver, and stress handler, working hard while enjoying the experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure friendly, timely service according to company standards.
Cultivate a positive culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's core values.
Respond promptly to guest complaints and resolve issues.
Perform guest contact and table visits as per standards.
Maintain inventory and ensure product quality and presentation.
Schedule staff effectively to meet demands.
Ensure safety, security, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
Report repairs and maintenance needs promptly.
Recruit, train, and develop team members and managers.
Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.
Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
Control departmental costs and manage inventories.
Complete daily paperwork accurately.
Work in various restaurant positions as needed.
Engage in continuous leadership development.
Education and Experience
2-3 years of restaurant management experience.
Serve Safe Food and Alcohol Certifications are a plus.
Physical Standards
Work various shifts, including weekends.
Stand and move efficiently for up to 10 hours.
Lift up to 50 pounds safely.
Read, write, and use small tools and equipment.
