Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, Bachelor's Degree, or Advanced Coursework in Special Education with specialization in Autism. Hold a valid New Jersey Supervisor Certificate in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:9B-12.7. Valid New Jersey certification as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDTC), School Psychologist, School Social Worker, Teacher of Students with Disabilities with endorsement, or Teacher of the Handicapped. Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching or related educational experience, working with Students with Autism. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of child growth and development and special education laws and regulations (N.J.A.C. 6A:14). Instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment, and diagnostic tools. Excellent integrity, strong moral character, and a demonstrated sense of initiative. Ability to communicate effectively in Englihs, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community. Proficiency in the use of technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data management systems. Other Conditions:
