Responsibilities

Create a detailed project execution plan (PEP) identifying and sequencing activities to complete the project.

Prepare and implement a communication plan meeting client reporting requirements and keeping project stakeholders informed.

Coordinate and communicate with the project team to foster collaboration and proactively resolve issues.

Determine resources (time, money, equipment) and develop/manage a cost budget to meet estimated margins.

Troubleshoot commercial refrigeration equipment at the jobsite as needed.

Understand and manage Energy Management Systems (EMS) and controls to restart systems as required.

Understand the full scope of the commercial refrigeration installation project and deliverables.

Develop refrigeration scope of work for contractors when required; align with bid requirements and the SOW.

Develop and manage project schedules, allocate resources, and report progress to senior management.

Review and ensure project quality and safety standards; implement corrective actions as needed.

Forecast requirements, prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and pursue efficiencies to meet financial objectives.

Maintain and enhance client relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.

Travel to job sites for visits and document reports for clients and internal teams.

Identify future business opportunities and participate in professional development activities.

Ensure compliance with DFR-AMS and customer safety standards onsite.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

10+ years of project management experience (or equivalent combination of roles such as foreman, service technician) with the ability to troubleshoot refrigeration equipment and see projects to completion.

The Ideal Candidate

Ability to adapt to changing construction deadlines; well-organized with strong customer service skills.

General knowledge of construction practices and ability to read blueprints.

Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.

Ability to manage large dollar amounts, perform arithmetic operations, and interpret tracking documents.

Ability to protect confidential information and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with third parties.

Knowledge of DX refrigeration, project management, workplace safety, customer relations, accounting processes, bid development & sales.

Physical Demands

Sitting, standing, walking, and using hands to operate a computer, tools, or controls; climbing or balancing; stooping, crouching, and kneeling.

Travel to job sites, climb stairs, and access roofs; work at heights with ladders and lifts.

Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs; vision requirements include close, color, and peripheral vision.

Work Environment

Adherence to company and OSHA safety guidelines; may require PPE.
