Installation and startup of multiple types of HVAC equipment. Effectively communicate with customers regarding planned tasking, issues, or impacts. Work with all electrical components from disconnect throughout equipment. Accurately and thoroughly document hours worked, tasking performed, materials used, and processes involved. Accomplish tasking working from job plans, verbal information, schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, documents, vendor/manufacturer manuals, and applicable specifications and codes. Perform tasks outdoors in environmentally challenging conditions including wind and extreme cold weather. Proactively identify any unsafe conditions or hazards and communicate them effectively. Participate in Safety Program requirements. Assist with equipment installation. Assist with piping connections at unit, including condensate, refrigerant lines, and chilled, hot water. Sheet metal - flue connections to equipment. Pressure test, evacuation and recharge refrigerant-containing equipment. Controls wiring / electrical connections at equipment. Unit startups including boilers, chillers, water heaters, air compressors, RTU, mini-splits, split systems, hanging heaters, etc. Overflow warranty diagnostic or repair during new equipment labor warranty period (when service cannot support) – after labor warranty expiration the call would be sent to the service department. Minimum Qualifications

Experience in HVAC/R mechanic work, including installation and startup of various Plumbing, Mechanical, Heating and Air Conditioning equipment. Wiring of a wide range of controls, system components, equipment. Successful completion of a relevant trade school or apprenticeship program or be able to complete that requirement within 1 year of hire. Clean driving record, able to operate a company vehicle, insurable. Teachable mindset. Self-motivated, goal and results oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. High standards of quality with attention to detail. Travel
