A day in the life of a construction project coordinator at 3G Companies: This position plays an important role in our construction projects. They assist through all the life-cycles of a project by supporting the project teams and our clients with a variety of tasks.
Reports to: Eastern Nebraska Vice President and General Manager
Purpose: Assist the Project Team in the management of resources involved/related to projects and ensure quality work is performed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
What you’ll do
Set up and coordinate administrative documents and duties for construction projects from beginning to conclusion
Assist with contracts, insurance certificates, and bid solicitation
Review submittals, change orders, and purchase orders
Utilize Procore software to organize project documents and notes
Represent 3G Companies in external meetings with owners and trade partners
Follow Core Processes
All other duties as assigned
Learn to understand and read architectural drawings from schematic to construction documents
Practice “Closeout Excellence”: review, track, and compile O&M manuals, extra material, and warranty information
All other duties as assigned
What knowledge, skills, and abilities you’ll bring
Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
Work independently and complete duties/projects with little direct supervision
Accurately work under pressure to meet deadlines
Excellent organizational and communication skills
High attention to detail
Legal Requirements
Ability to work daily and extended hours (as necessary to meet deadline)
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to travel once a quarter (4 times annually) to Safety Meetings (overnights not required)
Ability to pass pre-employment testing
Ability to pass OSHA 30 certification
Onsite role: Must report to Omaha, NE office Monday – Friday
