Maintains facility and sales floor safety and standards by adhering to safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety sweeps, following forklift and hazardous material handling requirements, complying with company standards, and promptly correcting or reporting unsafe situations to management. Ensures the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor is organized, stocked, zoned, and merchandised according to company policies, including proper handling of claims, returns, shrink, and damages. Provides merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink items. Monitors tire and battery orders daily and assists members with appointments for installation; communicates lead time changes and order cancellations and offers alternatives for installation or tire fitments; assists members with tire maintenance and repair services. Offers expert member service by greeting members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing and service decisions, resolving concerns, using Sam’s Garage, product knowledge, and reference materials to recommend suitable tire and battery products, explain warranties, and ensure value. Drives sales and service excellence by communicating value and collaborating with associates to promote TBC offerings and member awareness. Triages and prioritizes service workflow in TBC service bays, references Sam’s Garage to identify waiting members, understands service queue, and prioritizes appointments to maximize efficiency; supports TBC Team Lead or Technicians as needed. Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specs, seasonality, POS systems, and selling techniques. Leverages technology to enhance operations and engagement using digital tools and handheld devices to plan sales, improve service, and stay informed about products and training. Serves as a brand advocate by delivering high-quality service, developing and mentoring team members, and addressing roadblocks. Provides products and services to Members in accordance with Company policies; completes vehicle service requests and tests; operates TBC equipment safely; receives, stores, and disposes of merchandise and supplies; completes and maintains documents; processes purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to policies. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; supports Open Door Policy and executes business processes with integrity. Completes work assignments by using policies and data, collaborating with managers and colleagues, prioritizing deadlines, and adapting to change and feedback. Adheres to core Walmart values and fosters a culture of belonging, teamwork, integrity, customer focus, and continuous improvement. Follows safety and security guidelines for Tire and Battery Center products and services; provides accurate information to Members; reports safety hazards and issues; uses TBC equipment correctly and completes required documentation. Follows proper POS procedures to prevent shrink; assists Members with payments, returns, and item location; uses cash registers and completes sales promptly. Qualifications
