at Ryerson: you will be responsible for directing the efficient function of plant operations including but not limited to production equipment, shipping, receiving, inventory oversight, and related activities. Responsibilities

Understands production goals and implements actions necessary to meet objectives Provides leadership to direct reports; coaches and counsels employees Facilities problem solving and team-building activities Participates in Performance Management Process (PMP) Carries out and supports company policies, goals and objectives Understands quality goals and implements actions necessary to meet goals and ISO 9000 standards Reviews plant supply inventory and advises purchasing when levels are low Ensures training is effectively carried out and oversees completion of training checklists Communicates with other departments within the facility and at other locations Understands customer requirements, participates, and advises on decisions regarding suitability of material and processing equipment Provides direction and coaching in safe work practices; supports safety goals Reviews unsafe conditions and ensures corrective actions to eliminate workplace hazards Follows and enforces applicable agreements and policies All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice Requirements

College education preferred A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and decision-making skills Willingness and ability to develop proficiency in SAP; prior experience not required Salary

Salary: $64,855.53 - $97,283.29 annually. A starting salary higher than $64,855.53 is based on experience and education and is commensurate with the compensation scale. Equal Employment Opportunity
