Construction Paralegal
to support a dynamic legal team in Jacksonville. This role offers a chance to work on high-impact cases and contribute to trial preparation, document analysis, and client communications.
Key Responsibilities
Organize, index, and analyze legal documents and case files
Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and legal filings under attorney supervision
Issue subpoenas and conduct background checks
Coordinate document production and assist with deposition preparation
Support attorneys during trial and prepare deposition summaries
Utilize Westlaw for legal research
Communicate with clients, experts, and court personnel
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal or legal secretary
High school diploma required; college degree and paralegal certificate preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong typing skills (65+ WPM)
Highly organized with strong interpersonal skills
Bonus Skills
Experience with AAA filings and 558 Notices
Familiarity with demand letters and construction litigation
