CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Supervisory Paralegal to join our team supporting a large Federal agency with a technical support initiative.

Base pay range: $59,210.67/yr - $76,128.00/yr

Job Responsibilities
Supervise paralegals and support staff, especially on major legal research projects or courtroom support
Monitor work progress and report on status
Ensure work meets contract and attorney standards and is delivered timely
Perform quality control and troubleshooting
Develop administrative and technical procedures for work processes
Report to Project Supervisor or Manager; interact with government and legal staff
Conduct complex legal and factual research
Design systems for managing case files and materials
Assist trial staff with coordination and research
Coordinate access to legal research facilities
Collaborate with support components like data processing
Qualifications
Minimum three years litigation paralegal experience, including trial work
At least one year in automated litigation support (Relativity or similar)
Prior trial support experience necessary
Supervisory experience with strong communication skills
Knowledge of federal and state courts, legal research procedures, and resources
Excellent communication skills and familiarity with legal research tools (LEXIS, Westlaw)
Proficiency with computer applications: word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging
Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
Paralegal certification required
Preferred: Relativity and eDiscovery knowledge
