ASM Global . The Raising Cane's River Center / ASM GLOBAL has an open position located in Baton Rouge, LA. The position is responsible for coordinating client needs with building staff to ensure proper setup and smooth operation of events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ascertain client requirements for physical setup, security, ticketing, etc. to ensure the event runs as requested. Initiate and distribute required paperwork to communicate client requirements to appropriate facility departments. Oversee event operations, outside contractors, third-party vendors, concessionaires, etc. during events to ensure requirements are fully addressed and executed. Ensure facility rules, regulations, HR policies, and procedures are enforced. Interview, hire, supervise, and schedule all part-time staff for the Event Services Department as necessary. Check-in part-time staff for events, ensuring timeliness, proper dress, posting positions, and conducting pre-event meetings. Perform upkeep of the evaluation system for the part-time Event Services staff. Assist in the development and implementation of customer service training for all facility staff. Maintain Event Services departmental records including applications, reports, timesheets, and scheduling systems. Coordinate electrical, phone, and internet services for clients and exhibitors. Assist in compiling employee paperwork needed for Human Resources and disciplinary actions. Assist in inventory, organization, ordering, and maintenance of Event Services equipment. Assist in general office administration duties. Anticipate problems and develop solutions; investigate operational problems and complaints. Observe and report facility repairs and maintenance needs. Act as point person for events, providing clients with updates. Process payroll using ADP eTime. Supervise and guide staff during events, ensuring safety and orderliness. Serve as Manager on Duty and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Two to three years of related experience in event coordination or meeting planning, or equivalent education and experience. Customer/Guest Service experience is required. Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and manage multiple priorities under pressure. Effective communication skills in oral and written English. Proficiency in MS Office, scheduling, and time management software. Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
