School Based Crisis Clinician This position is located in the Albany School District - North Albany Academy MSWs with their Limited Permit are eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus! Licensed Social Workers are eligible for a $7,500 signing bonus! The School Based Crisis Clinician is responsible for providing integrated crisis services in the school to reduce risk and improve outcomes for students enrolled in the school district. Services are to be provided in a rapid, strength-based, trauma-informed, and individualized approach. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide clinical consultation to the school district, students, and their families. Lead efforts in assessing for risk and intervening with students potentially in crisis. Assist students in safety planning and maintaining emotional stability. Complete appropriate service referrals and linkage to community resources. Follow up with outreach to students, families, and care team post-crisis. Document interventions in a complete and timely fashion per agency and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as requested. Ability to travel required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience, training, or education commensurate with working with children with serious and persistent emotional disturbance is desired. Experience with working in a school environment is preferred. Must be licensed prior to starting, or have an active limited permit. LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R preferred. Required to pass licensing exam within six months of employment if working with a limited permit. Driver's license is required.
