General Position Summary The Office Assistant, which reports to the Human Resources Department, provides administrative and general office support to ensure smooth daily operations within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities
Check in all visitors to the office.
Order office supplies, maintain inventory levels, and ensure break room supplies are stocked.
Ensure the office and breakroom are clean, safe, and well organized.
Coordinate all office events and functions, including coordinating lunches for executive meetings.
Assist in the facilitation of employee recognition programs.
Act as liaison between Vervent and the property management company.
Provide HR support as needed.
Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or administrative coursework preferred.
One (1) year of experience in a customer service role; office experience preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other office software.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Physical Requirements While performing the functions of this job, the employee is required to stand and sit for prolonged periods. The position requires the ability to operate a keyboard, computer mouse, telephone, fax, copier, writing tools, and other standard office equipment. On occasion, an employee may be asked to lift items weighing up to 35 lbs.
