Inside Sales: Appointment Setter (BDR)
We’re growing and looking for an inside sales professional to support our commercial roofing customers across the Midwest. This role focuses on building relationships, proactively placing outbound calls, and setting appointments for our outside sales partners. The right candidate will be a motivated hunter who is comfortable turning leads into measurable appointments.
Required Experience
Outbound calling experience and/or lead generation
Polished listening skills to identify challenges that clients & prospects are facing
Attention to detail, ability to execute a process, and an entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills for both internal and external recipients
Hunter mentality – converting leads into appointments for outside sales partners; heightened sense of urgency to reach commission/bonus targets

Responsibilities
Generate lead flow: prospect new sales leads via initial phone contact, prepare them for a visit from their Field Technician
Support current accounts: communicate with existing accounts or leads to cultivate brand trust, answer calls and emails, identify issues, suggest product or service solutions
Branch leadership: fuel GLRC's presence in Iowa, grow the service team, wear many hats, captivate potential, thrive on independence
Job Type Full-time at 30 hours per week; flexible hours to be worked Mon‑Fri during the typical 8:00‑16:00 workday.
