Overview
Join us as our new Quality Inspector. The Quality Control Inspector will work as part of a team responsible for the quality control processes performed in a GMP-compliant, dietary supplement manufacturing facility. The Quality Control Inspector will perform various examination, inspection, and verification tasks to ensure quality system requirements are being followed. This position will work Monday-Friday with first shift hours (time flexible). In This Role You'll Make An Impact By
Performing checks to ensure that the correct product is being manufactured and that in-process specifications are being met, e.g., inspecting encapsulated product for various quality defects including cosmetic, contamination, size, etc. Performing packaging line checks to ensure that the correct labels, packaging components and intermediate products are being used for the product being packaged. Ensuring that production records, including but not limited to equipment logs, scale verification records, room logs, etc. are being completed accurately and at the time use. Performing GMP and hygiene inspections throughout the facility including, but not limited to, the weekly facility sanitation and pest control inspection. Ensuring that QC monitoring and testing equipment in the processing areas are accurate, in calibration, and functioning correctly. Performing cleaning and sanitization verification testing, inspect for adequate cleaning, and release of production and packaging equipment when acceptance criteria is met. Ensuring that all of the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phase. Assisting with performing routine Environmental Monitoring checks. Ensuring non-conforming items are segregated and are appropriately identified as non-conforming. Assisting with QC investigations per written and verbal instructions. Communicating potential quality problems to management. Assisting with writing and/or revising Standardized Work Instruction and process checklists. Performing inspections for items that are returned. Reviewing Batch Production Records for completeness and accuracy. Qualifications
High school diploma minimum. Previous QC and GMP experience preferred, preferably in a dietary supplement or pharmaceutical environment. Good oral/written communication and math skills. Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and procedures. A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach. Proven history of understanding industry safety standards and quality expectations. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Self-motivated while working with minimal supervision. Able to follow instructions and manage input from multiple sources. Able to adapt to changing priorities. Able to interact with multiple levels and various departments within the company professionally. Location:
