Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and that quality care meets changing healthcare needs. Maintains consistent quality resident care and service delivery across shifts; may assume the roles of Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide to meet needs and staffing requirements. Oversees supervision of licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA and Caregivers; provides ongoing training and manages associates’ schedules. Oversees and manages medication training, pharmacy management, and supervision and/or administration; conducts periodic medication skills inventories and audits per Brookdale guidelines. Shares on-call duties as required. Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and 1-2 years of relevant experience. LPN or LVN license.
