Job Brief
Responsible for the development, coordination, and continuous improvement of Asset Management Plans (AMPs) across the organization.
What You’ll Do As an Asset Management Plan Coordinator, you will be responsible for the development, coordination, and continuous improvement of Asset Management Plans (AMPs) across the organization. This role ensures that AMPs align with the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP), support operational and capital planning, and meet compliance and performance expectations. Other duties include:
Acts as a central liaison between asset owners, engineering, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent and effective approach to asset lifecycle management
Live and foster Dyno Nobel Values
Ensure compliance with applicable HSE Performance Standards
List the key and critical accountabilities, essential functions and responsibilities that are expected from this position, and the main activities the position is required to perform on a regular basis
Lead the creation and annual update of asset management plans for all relevant asset classes
Ensure AMPs align with SAMP objectives and organizational strategy
Coordinate inputs from stakeholders across operations, maintenance, engineering, and finance
Document and maintain lifecycle strategies including acquisition, operation, maintenance, supply, and disposal
Identify and track life-limiting factors and ensure they are reflected in planning and budgeting
Define current, forecast, and desired performance levels for assets
Identify performance gaps, risks, and opportunities; develop and track mitigation actions
Support the development of SMART asset management objectives and KPIs
Facilitate engagement with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and communicate AMP priorities
Coordinate stakeholder activities such as audits, reviews, and planning sessions
Collaborate with finance and operations to align AMP actions with operational and capital budgets
Ensure AMPs meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including change logs and related references
What We’re Looking For
Associates degree in Asset Management, Business, or a related field
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Business, or a related field desired
3+ years of experience in asset management, maintenance planning, or capital project coordination
Experience in explosives manufacturing or heavy chemical manufacturing desired
Understanding of ISO 55000 based asset management principles
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
