Overview
The position involves developing, analyzing, and maintaining technical and logistical data to support combat vehicle operations. This role ensures accuracy and compliance with military standards while contributing to the integration of technical, supply, and maintenance processes to deliver sustainable, high-quality products for the warfighter.
Key Responsibilities
Develop operator and maintenance procedures using models, engineering drawings, schematics, manufacturing work instructions, vendor data, and legacy data.
Input maintenance task data, support material, and tool requirements into
SLICwave , ensuring compliance with
MIL-STD-13882B
and
GEIA-0007 .
Collaborate in developing troubleshooting logic trees,
Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) , and
Battle Damage Assessment and Repair (BDAR)
tasks.
Support the review and markup of
Technical Publication Work Packages
in compliance with
MIL-STD-40051 .
Incorporate configuration changes resulting from design or manufacturing discrepancies and test incident reports.
Generate, maintain, and update
LSA-004 Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC)
and
LSA-019 Task Analysis Summaries
per
Army Regulation (AR) 700-82 .
Analyze and interpret complex technical data packages to determine maintenance and logistics usability.
Create, track, and manage problem reports related to technical data packages.
Apply knowledge of
National Stock Numbers (NSN)
and
Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SMR)
codes to logistics documentation.
Support development of
LSA-030 Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTL)
and
LSA-036 Provisioning Master Records (PMR) .
Identify illustration requirements and ensure timely, accurate development.
Recommend program-specific
Logistics Management Information (LMI)
style and format guidelines based on customer and military specifications.
Develop and confirm workflow charts; reconcile and project cumulative progress for
Earned Value (EV)
metrics.
Review and finalize
Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)
deliverables.
Required Skills
Strong ability to read, interpret, and redline engineering drawings.
General understanding of military technical manuals, parts manuals, and maintenance requirements.
Working knowledge of information services such as
WebFLIS ,
PubLog , and
IHS Haystack .
Familiarity with key military standards including
MIL-STD-13882B ,
GEIA-STD-0007 ,
AR 700-82 ,
AR 750-1 ,
AR 750-10 ,
MIL-STD-40051 , and
MIL-PRF-63002 .
Proficiency with
Microsoft Office
and
Adobe Acrobat Pro
(including markup tools).
Understanding of relational databases and LMI data development.
Ability to support customer meetings, validations/verifications, logistics demonstrations, and in-process reviews.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with logistics design influence and product support concepts.
Experience with
Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM)
viewers such as
IADS
and
EMS NG .
Experience working with
Creo
and
Windchill
for model viewing.
Ability to forecast and define equipment support requirements.
Experience with logistics databases such as
Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) ,
Sets, Kits, and Outfits (SKO) , and
Unit Level Logistics Systems (ULLS) .
Familiarity with executing
Modified Work Orders (MWOs)
and supporting depot-level facilities.
Experience & Education
4+ years
of hands‑on mechanical experience with a high school diploma,
or
2+ years
of relevant experience with an associate degree.
