Job Title: Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed company sales and profit objectives.
Identify, contact, and negotiate with potential and existing customers to generate new business opportunities.
Prepare quotations and proposals.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer quotes and orders.
Manage and resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Attend trade shows, conventions, and professional events as directed to promote company products and services.
Provide performance coaching and leadership to assigned team members and ensure departmental alignment with company goals.
Prepare and submit required sales reports and forecasts in a timely and accurate manner.
Meet or exceed all customer expectations.
Qualifications Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, or a related field
Experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferably in the heat exchanger industry)
Proven success in business development and customer relationship management
Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to interpret technical information and industry trends
Proficiency in preparing and analyzing sales reports and proposals
Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Assertive personality in a highly competitive industry
Ability to perform business and technical math calculations accurately
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Other Requirements
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work in both office and field environments; including but not limited to having full range of body movements, precise command of all five senses, and ability to work long hours if needed.

Achievement of sales volume and profit margin targets
Timeliness and accuracy of reporting
Customer satisfaction and account retention
