The primary responsibility of the Kettle Coordinator is to support the Corps Officer during the kettle season with various kettle actives. Essential Functions Conduct kettle Orientation for employees and volunteers
Prepare proper paperwork for all Seasonal Kettle employees
Accurately enter all needed information into kettle program employee and campaign related
Recruit and assign volunteers and/or service clubs to various kettle locations
Prepare kettle schedules daily—assign employees in such a manner as to maximize net income
Take inventory of all kettle equipment, ensure any broken equipment is reported and replaced if necessary
Prepare Schedule route for Kettle Driver
Respond to any complaints received by stores "Kettle" locations
Supervise, train and discipline employees as required
Prepare kettle income for deposit. Make Bank Deposit in compliance with TSA Policy
Arrange for Angel Trees to be set-up in stores
Assist with activities concerning toy donations
Kettle Driver regularly or as needed
On time regular attendance is a must
Working Conditions
Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED
1-2-year clerical experience
Previous Kettle experience a plus
Valid Driver's License
Bilingual in Corps location language a plus
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Able to read, write and communicate effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills
Understanding of Salvation Army Mission
Education
High School or Equivalent (required) Experience
