Seeking an experienced
Procurement Agent
to handle purchasing and contract negotiations for technical equipment, systems, and services. This role requires strong negotiation, vendor management, and technical procurement experience, ideally in telecommunications or wireless systems. Key Responsibilities
Negotiate pricing, terms, and long-term contracts with suppliers. Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for technical equipment and components. Review purchase orders and contracts for policy compliance. Resolve supplier issues such as defects, delays, and returns. Identify and implement cost‑saving strategies and procurement best practices. Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and performance. Support project execution by managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Ensure adherence to corporate procurement policies and procedures. Conduct market research to identify sourcing opportunities and trends. Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives. Manage category strategies aligned with business goals. Support the protection of company assets, including financial and cybersecurity resources. Skills & Experience Required
7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Experience with RFX, cost analysis, and vendor performance evaluation. Background in private telecommunications systems design, engineering, installation, or support services preferred. Knowledge of wireless/cellular network procurement (private internal systems preferred). Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. Without a degree: Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience required. Benefits
