Quality Inspector III

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions . Cadrex is searching for a Quality Inspector III to support manufacturing practices through development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of processes, ensuring customer expectations of quality are met or exceeded. Key Responsibilities
Use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, steel rulers, pin gages, surface plates, and height gauges. Read and interpret blueprints. Conduct visual inspections of products according to customer requirements. Inspect and test in-process and finished products. Document inspection results in reports/logs. Identify and quarantine non-conforming products. Generate non-conforming reports for discrepant products. Maintain measurement equipment and troubleshoot issues. Inspect and approve incoming materials to meet specifications. Participate in department meetings. Inspect and release products for shipping with proper documentation. Assist with dimensional verification of PPAP and 1st article parts. Create internal Control Plans per customer and company requirements. Operate FARO & Micro-Vu measurement equipment. Support production with proper measuring techniques and documentation. Assist with calibration procedures and equipment calibration. Collaborate on corrective actions for customer complaints, vendor issues, and process failures. Work effectively with manufacturing personnel to resolve issues. Participate in internal process audits. Complete PPAP and 1st article documentation. Lead and train Level I and II inspectors as needed. Implement lean processes and project improvements. Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of industry safety standards and quality expectations. 5+ years experience in a metal fabrication environment with a focus on inspection. Ability to read instructions, memos, and present information effectively. Basic math skills and ability to interpret graphs. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, email, and internet. Education
High school diploma required; associate degree preferred. Location
Onsite. Schedule
Monday to Friday. Work Environment
Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, occasional electrical shock risk, and moderate to loud noise levels. Physical Demands
Stand, sit, use hands, handle objects, communicate verbally; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds; specific vision abilities required. Core Values
