Santé is seeking a Full-Time Mobile Crisis Specialist (LCSW-C/LCPC) to join our frontline crisis intervention team in Centreville, MD. This is an in-person role with a shift from 4:00pm to 12:00am. NOT A REMOTE POSITION. IN-PERSON ONLY. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Perform danger, crisis, and environmental assessments on entry to the community situation and lethality assessment Perform a diagnostic assessment Perform an on-scene assessment and create a treatment plan De-escalate and provide crisis intervention and crisis planning/implementation Identify and refer to community and other resources; ensure linkage with follow-up Decide on the need for an emergency petition or alternative psychiatric evaluation and educate involved parties on the process Address diverse populations (children, adolescents, adults, dual-diagnosis, co-occurring, elderly) Understand medical implications when working with substance use disorders Collaborate with families, police, fire, and other agencies; provide consultation to ER staff as needed Document clinical and non-clinical information according to CRS procedures Complete required trainings and provide community education about CRS Check and coordinate work e-mail and EMR according to agency protocol Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to interns and/or lesser licensed staff Comply with confidentiality regulations (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2) and mandatory reporting Adhere to program contractual and operational requirements Other duties as assigned What We Require (Qualifications)
Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field (MSW, MA, MS) and two (2) years of related experience Current licensure in Maryland as LCSW-C/LCPC Santé will assist with licensure fees or transfer Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance What You’ll Get (Benefits)
