Commercial Excellence Manager – Amcor
Join the Amcor team to drive the Commercial Excellence program across Amcor C&D, advancing Sales and Marketing capabilities in line with Amcor’s Value Plus program.
Principal Accountabilities
Deploys and further develops the company‑wide Commercial Excellence program, “Value Plus”.
Ensures consistent delivery of “One Amcor Way” as per the Value Plus Commercial Excellence Program.
Identifies key commercial capability requirements and improvement opportunities to the sales process across AFCD.
Identifies and executes other necessary Sales Force Effectiveness initiatives to build enhanced capabilities, processes, and tools within the Sales and Marketing organization and delivers on the commercial strategy.
Acts as the key contact for cross‑business group Value Plus opportunities, actions, and initiatives.
Shares sales and marketing and Value Plus best practices across Amcor.
Enables best‑in‑class usage of key systems such as Salesforce.com, Voice of Customers, and others.
Develops and delivers formal training activities associated with commercial capability building programs.
Actively leads content and delivery of Amcor Enablers (Customer Relationship Management, Voice of the Customer, etc.).
Ensures program coherence and mutual‑reinforcing nature of Enablers and Capabilities, working with Capability Owners to ensure quality of content, process, training, and outcome.
Leads the CELG to a high level of Commercial Excellence outcomes across Amcor.
Develops and delivers formal training activities associated with commercial capability building programs across AFC&D.
Personally on‑boards all new commercial hires to Amcor on Amcor’s approach to Commercial Excellence.
Qualifications
University degree in a relevant field.
Substantial experience in sales and business development roles (7+ years in total).
Strong results track record of delivering and growing business through excellence in sales management as well as continuous improvement.
Proven ability to manage transformational projects in a matrix environment, identify and develop talent, and communicate effectively with senior audiences.
Proven ability to manage and deal with ambiguity.
