Grants Management Associate

for a long‑term temporary assignment. This role will provide essential support to the Grants Management team, ensuring smooth and compliant grantmaking operations. The position requires strong administrative and systems experience, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with the nonprofit or philanthropy sector.

Salary/Hourly Rate $40/hr – $45/hr (Depending on experience)

Position Overview The Grants Management Associate will support the foundation’s grantmaking processes by maintaining accurate documentation, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience managing data and workflows in grant or nonprofit systems who enjoys a balance of administrative precision and mission‑driven impact.

Responsibilities Of The Grants Management Associate

Manage and maintain grant records, payment tracking, and reporting within systems such as Fluxx, Egnyte, and Smartsheet.

Ensure all grant documentation is complete, accurate, and audit‑ready.

Communicate professionally with grantees and internal staff to resolve questions or requests.

Support the preparation of reports, payments, and grant agreements.

Assist with audit preparation and compliance processes.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within grant management workflows and tools.

Required Experience/Skills for the Grants Management Associate

3+ years of experience in administrative, nonprofit, or grantmaking support roles.

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Proficiency in systems such as Fluxx, Egnyte, Smartsheet, or comparable database platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Grants Management Associate

Prior experience supporting grantmaking or philanthropic operations.

Familiarity with financial tracking, auditing, or compliance reporting.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
