Summary The Associate, Corp Dev/M&A will work with two Director level leaders, the VP and the CDO and be a partner to the M&A process, driving growth through strategic acquisitions. This individual will assist in managing a robust pipeline of acquisition targets, support due diligence and deal execution, and ensure seamless post-acquisition integration. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, has a strong financial acumen, and excels at building relationships with key stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
Support the development and management of a robust acquisition pipeline aligned with the company’s strategic growth objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with brokers, business owners, and industry stakeholders to identify and assess high‑potential acquisition opportunities.
Partner with the Chief Development Officer to ensure seamless handoff from target identification through deal execution.
Assist in all phases of the M&A lifecycle, including target evaluation, financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction structuring.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams to lead comprehensive diligence efforts spanning financial, legal, operational, and regulatory areas.
Prepare and deliver deal materials—including financial analyses, valuation models, and strategic rationale—for senior leadership and board approval.
Required Qualifications & Skills
2–5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, or private equity.
Demonstrated track record of contributing to successful deal execution across multiple transactions.
Technical Expertise
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes.
Solid understanding of corporate finance, transaction structuring, and investment analysis.
Mindset & Work Style
Results‑driven and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Organizational & Collaborative Strength
Exceptionally organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple active projects.
