Industrial Wastewater Project Manager – HDR Join us at HDR to lead industrial water and wastewater facility projects, including planning, design, and construction administration.

Responsibilities

Direct project staff and oversee industrial water/wastewater projects as a project director and/or manager, including marketing and planning of proposals and interviews.

Provide project and task management, conduct complex process engineering for projects and proposals, collect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos, and public forums, lead production of design calculations and technical reports, and prepare engineering plans and specifications for industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Have experience with design/build (desirable).

Possess strong oral and written communication, listening, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

PE strongly preferred

Master’s Degree

PMP certification

Experience in municipal or industrial water and wastewater systems planning and design, including project management.

Technical background in process design of industrial organic water/wastewater treatment facilities.

Demonstrated business development and strategic planning skills within industrial facility environments.

Self‑motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams.

Experience handling multiple assignments.

Experience with design/build (desirable).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field

7 years related experience

Minimum of 2 years project management experience

Ability to interact with various design teams, excellent organizational, project management and communication skills (written and verbal)

Benefits & Compensation Compensation depends on skills, experience, education, and location. Minnesota range: $116,498 – $166,425.
