Deputy Project Manager - Alternative Delivery (PE)

DRMP is seeking a motivated Deputy Project Manager to help the growing Alternative Delivery Market Sector based in our Orlando office.

Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct engineering investigations and plan work by completing well‑defined tasks, including data collection and analysis; perform routine calculations and evaluate the feasibility of alternate solutions.
Prepare or direct the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, and designs for projects.
Prepare and update schedules to advance the project.
Collaborate with clients, sub‑consultant partners, technical staff, and managers across multiple disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budgetary requirements.
Direct and mentor support staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Professional Registration, PE, with 7‑15+ years of field‑related work experience.
OpenRoads preferred.
Strong sense of urgency and self‑initiative to meet client deadlines.
Detail‑oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
Experience designing capacity projects for FDOT and/or tolling authorities such as CFX, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, THEA, etc.
Management duties include budgeting, scheduling, job tracking, client interaction, and staff management.
Outstanding communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to forge strong relationships with clients, professionals, and team members.
Valid driver’s license with an approved driving history.
