Service, test, inspect, program, and install low voltage fire alarm systems. Obtain and maintain all required local licenses, including a CSA Card. Perform on-site troubleshooting, programming, and repair of fire alarm systems. Identify code and non-conformance issues at customer sites. Install and commission new fire alarm systems in collaboration with team members and electrical installers. Work safely, utilizing all required PPE and following safety practices. Travel within Colorado and Wyoming to job sites, including possible off-hours or weekend work as needed. Qualifications
Willingness to join the IBEW Local Union 68. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Minimum NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems. Valid Denver Fire Alarm Systems Installer license (CSA Card) or ability to obtain. Supervisory or lead experience is a plus. Installation and inspection experience are advantageous. Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with a clean record. Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and perform work in challenging positions. Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Programming experience with Notifier products and holding a CSA Denver/Colorado Springs license are additional benefits. Wages range from $32.00 to $45.00 per hour, subject to the IBEW Local 68 agreement.
