Job Overview Title: "Sealcoating and Striping Foreman"

Employer: AMI Construction, Inc.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Job Responsibilities

Supervise all seal and stripe operations in accordance with DOT, local and commercial specifications.

Perform all routine project administration, coordination, scheduling, and on‑site construction engineering activities.

Manage all aspects of the operation including ordering of materials, logistics, maintenance, and outside services.

Serve as direct liaison between field crews, subcontractors, foremen, and upper management.

Work with the Operations Manager to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes.

Lead and manage staff of Sealcoat and Striping Foreman and coordinate between other crews, subs, and vendors.

Work with foreman and crew to ensure striping paint is not on any surface besides asphalt, and verify that adequate time has been allowed between coats, if applicable.

Maintain a work environment that is safe and continually kept clean and orderly.

Create and foster a work environment that includes instilling a positive atmosphere, promoting proactive and effective communication, facilitating problem‑solving and minimizing and resolving conflict in a constructive manner.

Recruit, train, and retain crew members and foreman to ensure they are focused on safety, quality, and productivity.

Read and implement architectural plans and specifications (application rates, grades, slope, drainage, etc.).

Respond to internal and external requests and provide high quality support to customers and colleagues.

Complete jobs within budget and on time.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Needed

Ability to operate a sealcoating and/or striping machine and other asphalt machinery.

Asphalt paving, sealcoating, and striping experience required; minimum 2-3 years as a foreman.

Strong analytical ability, quantitative and problem‑solving skills, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.

Must be comfortable with utilizing technology and softwares: ipad, iphone, and computer.

Fluently bilingual is a highly preferred, but not required.

Confidentiality and trustworthiness.

Professionalism in conducting interactions with customers, office staff, and crew.
