CALTRANS MAINTENANCE AREA SUPERINTENDENT
Under the direction of the District Maintenance Manager and a Maintenance Manager II, the incumbent will collect inspection and inventory data using hand‑held computers and GPS survey equipment. The incumbent will work closely with TBMP Program staff to provide condition ratings, identify deficiencies, and recommend actions. Responsibilities include performing TBMP inspection activities throughout the district, reviewing field data for accuracy and quality, providing QA/QC of verified field reports into the statewide database, producing reports or requests resulting from field evaluations, attending meetings in various locations (including Sacramento), and responding to emergency situations as required. The incumbent may work overtime, irregular shifts, nights, holidays, weekends, and travel; a valid Class C driver’s license is required. The position is located in San Luis Obispo.

Must possess a valid unrestricted Class C driver’s license.
