Overview
Manager, Food & Beverage - Universal Horror Unleashed. Located at Area 15 in Las Vegas, NV, this role supports a multi-unit food & beverage operation and Team Member Dining with mobile food ordering. Working hours are typically late evenings/nights and weekends (holidays included). The position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, and other perks. Responsibilities
Manage the leadership team and the venue\'s labor budget to ensure day-to-day operations align with staffing forecasts. Monitor labor hours and costs and optimize as needed. Communicate forecast changes to management. Oversee all facets of service, production, quality, and controls in the venue. Ensure Food & Beverage policies and procedures are followed. Lead the execution of special events for food & beverage concepts, including client needs, menu planning, and staffing to meet expectations. Hire, coach, conduct performance appraisals, train, and develop Team Members and exempt direct reports. Ensure required forms and paperwork are completed. Direct Assistant Managers and front-line staff to maintain consistent guest experiences and product quality. Act as opening or closing manager on duty when needed. Ensure readiness of all team members, facilities, and materials. Maintain compliance with Department of Health and Beverage Laws. Maintain stock levels and venue inventory. Support Assistant Managers in optimizing food, beverage, and non-labor costs and verify costs are tracked per business plan. Coordinate daily labor activities to maintain proper staffing for multi-outlet operations. Coordinate with Entertainment management for scheduling and staffing alignment with business needs. Conduct periodic meetings to review health guidelines, service changes, and company communications. Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities following established policies and training. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility
Supervises an exempt team. Qualifications
Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule based on business demands. Proficient in Point-of-Sale (POS), purchasing, and inventory systems. Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing staff; able to monitor performance and hold teams accountable. Knowledge of Southern Nevada Health regulations and proper food handling certifications. Professional Food Manager certification and Nevada state certifications are required. Education
Associate’s degree is preferred. Experience
