As a

Business Development Associate

, you will act as a key representative for our nonprofit clients, helping to grow their donor base and community presence. This role involves building meaningful relationships with the public, communicating compelling campaign narratives, and driving contributions at live events, high-traffic community locations, and branded outreach activations. You’ll play a direct role in expanding our partners' reach while developing valuable skills in relationship-building, sales strategy, and nonprofit development. Key Responsibilities

Serve as the front-line representative for nonprofit clients at community-based events and outreach locations

Engage with the public to educate, inspire, and secure new donors and supporters

Articulate mission-driven messages and campaign goals with clarity and enthusiasm

Support event logistics including setup, execution, and breakdown

Maintain accurate donor records and manage data tracking systems

Contribute feedback to optimize outreach strategies and campaign performance

Participate in team training sessions and professional development workshops

Represent the organization with professionalism, integrity, and purpose

Who You Are

Energetic and outgoing with strong interpersonal communication skills

Passionate about nonprofit missions and community engagement

Comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport with new contacts

Self-driven, dependable, and receptive to feedback and coaching

Flexible to work on-site at events, including evenings and weekends

High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is a plus

Prior experience in sales, customer service, fundraising, or advocacy is beneficial, but not required
