Quality Control Analyst II – Contract position in Fort Worth, Texas. 9‑5 work hours, pay $30–$35 per hour. Requires a bachelor’s degree in microbiology or related field.
Responsibilities
Performs microbiological validations for raw materials and finished products (Bioburden, Endotoxin, Sterility, PET).
Provides support to QC Microbiology laboratories and conducts equipment qualifications.
Supports audits, media fills, and readouts; identifies ongoing quality issues and proposes improvements.
Interprets and evaluates analyses for accuracy and precision against specifications and implements corrective actions when needed.
Writes analytical reports, protocol reports, and SOPs while strictly adhering to Good Documentation Practices.
Collaborates with production, maintenance, warehouse and other functions; communicates effectively.
Participates in problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and training of team members.
Coordinates with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and maintains supplies and equipment availability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field.
2–4 years of hands‑on QC Microbiology experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
Proficient in aseptic technique and core testing (Sterility, Endotoxin (LAL), Bioburden).
Strong knowledge of cGMP/GLP regulations and Good Documentation Practices.
Excellent technical writing skills for SOPs and reports; effective cross‑functional communication.
