Phillips 66 Refining Engineering University New Hire , you will participate in training and developmental programs that provide a comprehensive roadmap for early-career engineers at Phillips 66. Our focus is to help you gain a robust understanding of refining processes and the energy industry in an environment that embraces collaboration and values your contributions. Introduction to company practices, procedures, technical tools, technical training classes, participation in technical networks, and on-the-job training. Learning from internal and external experts and collaborating with more experienced engineers within your business. Contributing in key areas such as business or economic analysis, control systems, environmental, equipment reliability, maintenance, and/or operations. Job assignments could be located in Linden, NJ; Houston, TX; Lake Charles, LA; Roxana, IL; Ferndale, WA; Billings, MT; Rodeo, CA; Borger, TX; Ponca City, OK; Sweeny, TX. Required qualifications: Legally authorized to work in the job posting country Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science/Corrosion, Metallurgical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field of study Graduation date between December 2025 and Spring/Summer 2026 Ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to maintain face-to-face interaction so that a respirator/face mask can seal properly (e.g., being clean-shaven or free of facial hair) Preferred qualifications: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale Previous internship with Phillips 66 Previous internship or co-op experience in a related industry Willingness to work in any of our operating locations Valid driver’s license To apply and be considered: Apply online at

Billings Refinery
is located in Billings, Montana. Its facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization, and delayed coking units. The refinery processes a mixture of Canadian heavy, high-sulfur crude oil delivered by pipeline, and domestic crude oil delivered by truck. With the startup of a new vacuum distillation unit in 2017, the refinery has 100% heavy crude processing capability. The refinery produces a high percentage of transportation fuels and petroleum coke. Finished petroleum products are distributed by pipeline, rail car, and truck to markets in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and Washington.
