What You Will Do In this role, you will help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products with sound professional judgment, offering tax advice, full‑service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries. You will:
Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and/or proprietary business information responsibly.
Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to provide the right answer in everyday language.
Use Intuit’s video communication software to interact with customers and document interactions.
Interact professionally with customers and team members while adhering to Intuit’s operating values, including “integrity without compromise.”
What You Need
Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws: 3+ years preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients per season using commercial tax preparation software.
Active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, 30+ returns per year.
Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
Bookkeeping experience preferred.
Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers preferred.
Possession or ability to obtain related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
Commitment to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours per week, 4‑hour shift increments.
Working knowledge of Circular 230.
Proficient with technology; solid computer and software knowledge.
Strong customer service skills – ability to interact through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
Valid internet connection meeting Intuit Security criteria.
