Trillium Professional has a direct hire opportunity for a Senior Transportation Engineer. This role can be based in either Columbus, OH or Indianapolis, IN. Our client does offer relocation assistance for those outside those areas. Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to a wide variety of bridge and highway design projects. Provide project leadership, managing and developing projects and teams. Serve as a Proven Project Manager on transportation design initiatives, including structures, roundabouts and/or highway DOT projects. Collaborate with DOT clients and internal stakeholders to ensure design quality and timely delivery. Qualifications
Transportation Engineering Design Background Leadership capabilities with regard to managing and developing projects and teams Proven project management experience Design experience in structures, roundabouts and/or highway Department of Transportation (DOT) projects Professional Engineer (PE) license; NCEES certification with ability to be licensed in any state Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required PE is preferred (Indiana and/or Ohio) Minimum 7 years of experience working as a transportation design engineer; experience with design and plan development for DOT and transit projects; INDOT or ODOT preferred Proficiency with AutoCAD and OpenRoads/MicroStation Diversified knowledge of engineering principles, practices, technologies, materials, equipment, design concepts and construction techniques Seniority level
