Product Compliance Manager – Musco Product Compliance Team, Oskaloosa, IA. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you! Responsibilities
Establish department processes for securing and maintaining all necessary compliance certifications and approvals. Work closely with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate compliance requirements into product design and development. Ensure regulatory certifications (e.g., UL, NOM, etc.) are obtained and maintained. Includes support for Musco manufacturing certifications. Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation including test reports, declarations of conformity, and certification records. Partner with leadership to define department goals, set priorities, and align compliance strategy with overall business objectives. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to develop a high-performing compliance team. Oversee department budget planning and ensure resources are allocated effectively. Stay current with evolving global regulations, standards, and industry trends; communicate changes and proactively adjust compliance strategies. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant technical field. Ten years of experience with product compliance issues and processes. Ten years of experience working with regulatory and certification agencies. Experience with electronic products strongly preferred. Management experience strongly preferred. Self-directed and self-motivated. Good problem-solving skills. Good negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong ability to develop process and procedures. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and with all levels in an organization. Seniority level: Mid-Senior level. Employment type: Full-time.
