Operator I, Production

Under the supervision of the Production Lead, the Production Operator I will melt fats as required, supply raw materials (powders, liquor, fats), and ensure readiness for production. Key responsibilities include: Ensure equipment cleanliness and optimal condition before use; notify the Shift Leader of any issues. Verify raw materials match the production requirements. Perform fat melting according to schedule. Meet daily departmental targets. Use process order materials as instructed by the shift leader. Select appropriate destination tanks for transfers. Monitor melter temperatures. Check sugar levels at shift start. Dump powders (dairy, sweeteners, cocoa, etc.) per recipe. Refill internal silos for liquid lines. Receive and handle raw materials from the warehouse. Follow priorities set by the leader. Support cleaning and reworking activities. Report anomalies outside standard procedures. About you: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of production experience. Ability to follow instructions and operate material handling equipment. Good organizational, mathematical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Adherence to GMP and food safety standards. Forklift experience is a plus. Able to lift at least 25 kg (50 lbs). Capable of working in high-temperature areas (100F-120F).
