The location in Hawesville, Kentucky, United States is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent. This full-time permanent role leads a maintenance department in maintaining a diversified array of process equipment used in the pulp and paper manufacturing process. The position is responsible for attaining established goals and continuous improvement in safety, reliability, cost and personnel development. Responsibilities

Achieve established goals and drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability, cost and personnel development. Minimum qualifications
Technical/trade school diploma with emphasis in engineering/engineering technology and ten (10) years of maintenance leadership experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and five (5) years of maintenance leadership experience. Able and willing for on-call rotation as well as occasional extended work hours during upset conditions. A personal dedication to safety, including proactive support of efforts to create a culture of safety excellence. A good work ethic, positive attitude and the ability to lead a department of maintenance personnel that includes engineers, planners and front line supervisors. Familiar with reliability-centered maintenance practices and predictive maintenance tools, including vibration analysis, thermography, lube analysis, ultrasonic analysis and failure analysis techniques. Establish, maintain and support effective programs that promote a sustainable, environmentally responsible manufacturing process. Manage performance of all direct and indirect reports within the Maintenance Department in your area of responsibility. Develop and maintain a positive partnership with union leadership to ensure sustainable business operations and results. Good written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate technical activities across all levels of the organization. Microsoft Office products experience. Physical capability for frequent walking, climbing ladders and stairs; occasional crawling into confined spaces. Exposure to dust, heat, dirt, grease, chemicals, noise, various weather conditions and other industrial environments. Use of PPE and respiratory protection is required. Desired qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with five (5) years of maintenance department leadership experience. Experience with SAP Enterprise system including Plant Maintenance management processes; DMSI (Maintelligence) and CSI (Emerson Process) Vibration Analysis software. Reliability-centered maintenance training. Pulp and paper experience. Demonstrated leadership and people development skills. Presentation skills for working with diverse groups to resolve issues.
