Faire
About Faire
Faire is an online wholesale marketplace built on the belief that the future is local. We connect independent retailers worldwide with products from around the globe, giving small businesses the tools and insights they need to compete with larger e‑commerce giants.
About This Role
We’re looking for a strong operational and people leader to own and scale brand onboarding for Fulfilled by Faire (FbF) as we grow from 1% of Faire’s GMV today to 20% by 2026. You’ll own the brand onboarding process—from the moment brands join FbF through activation—and be accountable for the key performance indicators that drive brand success and program growth. This is a player‑coach role that begins with ensuring brands are onboarded successfully and then expands into building and leading a team of talented specialists.
What You’ll Do
Own brand activation & GMV growth for FbF, contributing to Faire’s goal of reaching 20% of GMV on the program by end of 2026. Define, track, and manage key operational KPIs across the brand journey—from onboarding to fulfillment performance. Partner with 3PL vendors (e.g., ShipBob) to ensure operational alignment, accountability, and continuous improvement. Streamline onboarding workflows—simplify steps, remove bottlenecks, and accelerate the time from sign to activation. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Fulfillment and Product teams to evolve the program—defining requirements, incentives, and operational capabilities to support scale. Identify and size blockers to brand adoption; translate insights into product and process improvements that prioritize impact. Build and lead a team of onboarding and operations specialists to deliver scalable, repeatable brand success. Document and share learnings—build playbooks and insights that improve efficiency, win rate, and time to value. Operate with agility, experiment quickly, and help shape a 0→1 initiative that’s redefining Faire fulfillment.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or program management, ideally within ecommerce, marketplaces, or supply chain. Proven experience leading teams and scaling operational programs. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a track record of managing metrics and improving performance. Experience working with 3PLs or external vendors; comfortable holding partners accountable to KPIs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; adept at influencing cross‑functional stakeholders. Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable with ambiguity and passionate about building new programs from the ground up.
Salary Range
San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY: The pay range for this role is $191,500‑263,500 per year. This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors, including transferable skills, work experience, market demand, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Why you’ll love working at Faire
We are entrepreneurs: Faire is built for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs. We empower entrepreneurs to chase their dreams. We use technology and data to level the playing field, connecting brands and boutiques worldwide. We build products our customers love, helping small businesses grow rather than steal from them. We are curious and resourceful, exploring every possibility and developing creative solutions driven by data and first principals.
Application Process
Applications for this position will be accepted for a minimum of 30 days from the posting date.
