Job Overview Category Analyst

– A highly motivated, analytically minded storyteller to join Keurig Dr Pepper’s Analytics & Category Team. This hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days remote) is based in Rogers, AR.

What you will do

Leverage data resources and insights to build stories that contribute to revenue growth and strategic objectives.

Develop fully integrated consumer, shopper, category and marketplace insights to guide Walmart’s strategic choices and tactical executions.

Work closely with KDP teams to maintain performance management routines, including reporting cadences, macro performance assessments and opportunity gap analysis.

Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams to connect business opportunities and develop solutions.

Use critical thinking to recognize and anticipate issues and opportunities for growth.

Serve as the category expert for the sales team and other cross‑functional team members.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

At least 2 years of business experience in Consumer‑Packaged Goods (CPG) with focus on sales, category management, market research, business analytics or shopper insights.

Experience with Walmart/Sam’s Club buying teams highly valued.

Knowledge of syndicated data (e.g., Circana, Nielsen), space‑planning software (e.g., JDA) and panel data (e.g., Numerator) highly valued.

Experience with Walmart Scintilla highly valued.

Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, presentation and follow‑through.

Demonstrated ability to build sustainable, collaborative relationships with internal partners.

Capability to develop and influence strategies and tactics at both retailer and manufacturer level.

High level of critical thinking and problem‑solving skills with great attention to detail.

Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.

Travel Travel may be required.
