Quality Control Inspector
Responsible to inspect and verify manufactured product is compliant with customer specifications. This is a non‑exempt position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review manufactured products to ensure their compliance with all requirements of the job package, including drawing, traveler, and special instructions.
Test products using a variety of electronic testing devices.
Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.
The Ideal Candidate
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions.
Must be detail oriented.
Understanding of electronic connectivity and testing.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years experience in cable manufacturing.
Reports To: Director of Quality Assurance.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal documents and procedure manuals and communicate effectively with all departments and the general public.
Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills Knowledge of inventory software.
Physical Demands The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Salary Range Hourly rate $16.00–$21.00 per hour depending upon experience. Eligible for overtime.
